A Smooth RideWhen it comes to making a smooth ride out of rough water, no monohull compares to a modern catamaran. The Crossfire’s hull form was created and refined by our qualified naval architect with 25 years of catamaran experience. The result is a well-balanced shape blending a fine entry forward for a smooth ride with powerful aft sections for quick planing and high performance.
-
More StabilityWhether fishing offshore, enjoying lunch at anchor, or just relaxing onboard, the Crossfire’s inherent stability dramatically reduces rolling and really adds to the confidence of those on board, especially people not used to the boating lifestyle.
-
Shallow DraftThe Crossfire’s shallow draft lets you get right up to the beach for an easy landing. And of course it makes getting on and off the trailer that much easier as well, a real advantage when launching from a rough boat ramp or off the beach.
-
Better Load CarryingCompared to cats of a similar size, the Crossfire has wider, more powerful hulls which means she can carry load more easily and is less effected by fore and aft weight distribution. Just compare the tunnel clearance of a Crossfire to the competition and you will see that as sleek as she looks, she is designed to be a real workhorse, not just a show pony.
-
More Usable SpaceLook at the average 6 metre trailer boat and then compare it to a Crossfire. The rectangular platform of a catamaran offers more space than the triangular shape of a monohull. Then, with a double berth, fully enclosed toilet / shower compartment, full height hardtop, fridge, sink and large aft deck, the Crossfire packs a lot of boat into only 20 feet.
-
Twin Engine SecurityThe modern four stroke outboard engine is very reliable, none more so than the Suzuki engines exclusively fitted to the Crossfire cats. However, bad fuel, flat batteries or damage from grounding can still occur. Twin engines (and twin fuel tanks) provide a level of redundancy, safety and confidence that just can’t be matched by a single engine installation. And if one engine does have problems, a Crossfire can still reach planing speeds on just one engine.
-
Easier Handling and ManoeuvrabilityThe widely-spaced motors give excellent control when manoeuvring the boat through tight spaces. In fact, the boat canl spin 360 degrees using just the engines, with no need to even touch the steering wheel.

Real Offshore AbilityEven a quick look at a Crossfire shows the rough water ability built into every hull. From the aggressive bow profile, through to the broad shoulders and high topsides, and on to the powerful aft sections, every part of the hull reflects our design philosophy – Get you and your family home safely, even in the worst conditions.
