Construction
These tough work boats are built from high tensile 5083 marine grade aluminium plate. They have 5mm bottom plate, 4mm topsides and a 4mm treadplate deck. The internal structure under the deck consists of a 10mm thick centreline keel and 4mm full depth transverse frames and longitudinals. The sides are supported by full height heavy duty 4mm folded beams. The transom is stiffened with a matrix of 100x50x6 RHS and can easily cope with large single or twin outboard motor setups. These boats are far stronger and much better wearing than the old “oyster plank” style of construction offering a far superior service life and better re-sale value.
Safety & Survey
They all feature fully sealed self-draining decks and are fitted with either AMSA approved buoyancy foam below deck or up to 8 separate air chambers making them quieter, safer, virtually unsinkable and fully compliant with current survey can be used as a Non-Survey vessel as well, simplifying ongoing operation.
Design
The hulls are designed with a V in the bottom plate. Not only does this improve ride and handling whilst still providing excellent load carrying ability, it also allows more for powerful engines to be fitted when compared to a flat bottom boat. Side fins integrated into the hull improve steering response and still allow the boat to sit level when out of the water. Standard features include bow storage shelves, foredeck steps, full length side fenders, tie off rails,
